Sermon 10/1/2023 The Always God
God is always speaking. His eternal words have eternal existence so we must watch what we say. In Genesis 1 whatever God spoke came into being. He upholds everything with the Word of HIs power. HIs Word does not come back void but it accomplishes what He pleases.
The heavens declare the glory of God.
He speaks by an inward witness through His spirit. Jeremiah 33:3 says Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not know. Don't go by your feelings! It is not reasoning in your mind, it is the Holy Spirit inside of you speaking to your spirit.
Holy Spirit speaks, teaches us and gives us revelation and It rises up out of your spirit, not your head. He is the intercessor, the comforter, the advisor, the paracletos, the legal advocate and He is always by your side. He is living inside of you and is acquainted with all of your ways. God leads us primarily by the inward witness, through our conscience and our conscience has to line up with the Word of God. You cannot follow your gut.
Judge everything by the Word of God. We need to be more in tune with the Holy Spirit. Build your spirit up by worshiping and praying in tongues, Obey right away or repent. The Spirit bears witness with our spirit. We sense His presence. We do not feel it. Feelings are of the flesh and feelings and emotions lie. Reasoning is of the mind but conscience is spirit.
